Seated acupressure bodywork is a sequence developed from traditional Oriental Anma and shiatsu style massage techniques to improve health, energy flow, and reduce tension. Acupressure points are located throughout the body on meridian lines, and are stimulated using finger and elbow pressure with the addition of kneading, percussion, mobilization, and stretching. This will balance the flow of energy and stimulate the muscular, nervous, lymphatic, immune, and circulatory systems, leaving the client relaxed yet energized. This practical handbook takes the reader through the techniques involved.
This 20-minute treatment can be offered ‘on-site’ at events, airports, in the workplace, or from private clinics.
Andrew Parfitt trained with the Academy of On-site Massage, and now runs his own school in the UK.

Using drawings taken from the best-selling The Anatomy of Stretching, these beautifully illustrated wall charts show exactly what is happening during a stretch. Each of the 16 key stretches illustrates the primary and secondary muscles worked, showing how to perform each stretch and highlight sports injuries for which each stretch will be beneficial.
Aimed at fitness professionals, physical therapists, sports scientists, or anyone involved in sport, these charts will help explain what is happening during a stretch, how the stretch can assist in recovery from injury, and add colour to any gym or treatment room wall.
